On behalf of the Chicago History Museum, I wish to express deepest sympathy to the victims, families and survivors of the fire at the school of Our Lady of the Angels on this day, Monday, December 1, 2008, the fiftieth anniversary of the tragedy.  We wish to remember this unforgettable day in the city’s history by sharing some photographs from the Chicago Daily News collection.
